Interfaith Emergency Services Thrift Store Ocala Florida

June 30th, 2012 Interfaith Emergency Services celebrated a grand reopening of their Thrift Store to show off the “make-over” it has received in the last couple of months. There were free hotdogs and sodas, door prizes and a free gift with every purchase!

Proceeds from the Thrift Store go directly to the Prescription Program at Interfaith to help Marion County residents with emergency medications. Due to sales being down recently, Interfaith had to temporarily stop the much needed payment of prescriptions because there were just not enough funds to cover the cost.

Karla Grimsley, Executive Director said, “We spent around $5,000 every month assisting clients with much needed medications such as insulin, heart meds, and asthma related items. We’re hoping that sales pick up so we can continue the prescription program.”

They’re¬†located at:

718 North Pine Ave
Ocala, Florida 34475
